Poster

       1. What is the general alignment of the poster? What is the alignment of the type?

In general, the poster itself is vertical and image orientation is left centered. The typography at the top of the poster is oriented to the center, while the rest of the text is aligned to the bottom right.

2. What contributes to visual hierarchy? What do you see first? Why? What do you see next? Why?
Visual hierarchy and analysis are supported by color, contrast, whitespace, and style. Since it is big and therefore more noticeable, the image of a gun is the first to be seen. The second visual is a butterfly, due to its vibrant color.

3. What could be said of the role of proportion, contrast and color in this poster?
On the poster, the position of proportion is generally to the bottom left, because that's where I first looked, at the faces inside the gun. As clouds, a light airy hue, muted blue, and white were mixed together. Behind the yellow butterfly, the top right is white. The dark colored gun and the light blue background provide a lot of contrast.

4. Is the poster balanced, and if so, what contributes to it?
The poster is balanced, even though the gun is mostly to the bottom left, the butterfly in the center helps contribute to balance the poster. The title, which is at the top of the page and has ample negative space around the gun and butterfly logo, also helps to balance the poster.

5. How would you describe the directional flow in the poster? How does your eye move throughout it? From where to where, specifically?
The directional flow is from the bottom left to the top center. My eyes travel from the bottom left to the top, with the text near the bottom right coming in last.

6. Does the poster have a visible or invisible grid? If so, do elements conform to/align with it?
The poster has an invisible grid. The butterfly is intentionally associated with the gun. Its text is also wrapped around the gun. All appears to fall into place, resulting in a satisfying proportion.

7. How is white space or negative space utilized in this design?
The white space is used to make other items in the poster that are colored differently more noticeable. There is a lot of white space on the poster, which allows the gun and butterfly to be the focal point. The text is also well-balanced, making the poster appealing to the eye.
